๐Ÿ… S-Tier Bosses (The Legends)

๐Ÿ’Ž S-tier bosses offer the perfect blend of challenging mechanics, rewarding loot, and epic scale. Beating these is a rite of passage for every Terrarian.

Moon Lord S+

Moon Lord

Extreme

Why S+: The ultimate vanilla finale. His multi-phase attack pattern, devastating Phantasmal Deathray, and game-changing loot (Last Prism, Meowmere) cement his top spot.

Pro Tip: Build a long asphalt runway and use the UFO mount for mobility. Target the eyes in this order: Top, Hands, Core.

Empress of Light S

Empress of Light

Very Hard

Why S: Arguably the most beautiful and mechanically intense fight. Daytime version is the hardest challenge in Terraria. Drops like the Terraprisma are worth the pain.

Pro Tip: Master the dash timing with the Master Ninja Gear. For daytime, practice in Journey Mode with Godmode to learn patterns.

๐Ÿฅˆ A-Tier Bosses (Elite Challenges)

A-tier bosses are must-fight encounters that provide essential progression and fantastic gear. They're tough but fair.

Duke Fishron A+

Duke Fishron

Hard

Why A+: A optional but brutally fast-paced fight. His third phase is chaotic. The Tsunami bow and Bubble Gun are pre-Moon Lord powerhouses.

Plantera A

Plantera

Hard

Why A: The gateway to late-game. The fight demands a well-prepared arena. Drops the powerful Grenade Launcher and Seedler.

Great list! But I'd swap Duke Fishron and Empress. Duke's third phase is more unpredictable, especially in Expert mode. The loot is slightly better too for the stage you fight him.

CalamityQueen 1 week ago

Where's the love for the Lunatic Cultist? He's a solid B-tier at least! His spells are pattern-based but punishing. Great guide overall though.
